Benefits of Membership

• Participate in 30-40 Strader’s plant donation drops, annuals perennials veggies, houseplants, trees, all FREE to current GCGC members. • Attendance at monthly meetings (usually first Thursday each month) with guest speakers, special training presentations, open discussions, community updates, and special projects. • Excellent networking opportunities with other local gardeners like yourself (backyard types), community food growers, and OSU master gardeners and urban farmers. • Access to GCGC exclusive funding opportunities, as well as information about various city and county grant opportunities. • Assistance from GCGC with securing material resources needed in your garden. • Enjoy food safety awareness training, beginning with soil preparation, growing, harvesting, transportation, storage and canning of fresh fruits and vegetables. • Advocacy to local authorities. • Promote sound health and nutrition practices. • Receive positive encouragement and problem-solving help to keep the spark glowing for your garden project. • Provide a clearinghouse for garden information, updates, resources, and community events.
